Hosting Clackmannanshire’s Whisky Festival and Edinburgh’s Whisky Festival annually has allowed us to build some amazing relationships with Distillery Ambassadors and Independent Bottlers. In addition it is clear there is a desire from attendees to get closer to some of their favourite brands and new, creative bottlings.
Slanj Whisky Club aims to cater to that demand in a more intimate setting away from the hustle and bustle of the festival floor.
These private tastings involve the very best of the industry’s distilleries and independent bottlers. We have carefully curated some of our most popular producers from our festivals.
Our first SWC event in December involved the fabulous Rachel Dixon-Keeble and George Keeble from Fragrant Drops who sampled 7 (yes, 7) delicious drams including a 48 year old Carsebridge. This was so very fitting to have a very rare grain whisky being celebrated from our most prestigious ghost distillery.
