Dundee’s Whisky Festival made its debut in June 2026 right in the heart of Dundeee — and what a debut it was.
The inaugural event exceeded all expectations, welcoming hundreds of whisky enthusiasts, exhibitors and visitors from across Scotland and beyond for a day packed with exceptional drams, great conversation and an incredible atmosphere. The feedback from attendees, exhibitors and the wider Dundee community was overwhelming, firmly establishing Dundee’s Whisky Festival as a welcome addition to Scotland’s whisky calendar.
We chose Dundee as the home for our third festival for good reason. It’s a city rich in culture, history and ambition, with fantastic transport links and a thriving visitor economy. Most importantly, it was a city that deserved its own large-scale whisky festival — and judging by the response, the city agreed.
Dundee’s central location, excellent rail connections, proximity to Dundee Airport and easy access from Aberdeen, Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond make it the perfect destination for whisky lovers looking to enjoy a fantastic day out.
A new home for Dundee’s Whisky Festival
Dundee’s Whisky Festival 2027 is heading to Verdant Works, a beautifully restored former mill dating back to 1833. With whisky heritage at the heart of Slanj Events, we couldn’t think of a more fitting home for our next chapter.

Why Dundee?

Dundee’s roots run deep – from ancient settlements and medieval trade to the industrial boom that earned it the title Juteopolis. Once the powerhouse of textiles, shipbuilding, and marmalade (yes, really), this proud city has always had a nose for industry, invention, and strong character – not unlike a fine dram.
It’s the city of Beano and Dandy mischief, waterfront reinvention, and bold spirit.

- View and participate in our live Coopering demonstration delivered by the skillful team at Cambus, (DIAGEO)
- Experience some of Scotland’s key whisky heritage from the early 1700’s
