About Team Slanj

Clackmannanshire’s Whisky Festival was established in 2021 while riding the Corona coaster at the tail end of another lockdown. With a personal passion for whisky and the rich history Clackmannanshire holds within the industry, we wanted to create an event that celebrated both — while also providing a platform to raise funds for our charity partner, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Following the success of Clackmannanshire’s Whisky Festival, we felt it was only right to take our three pillars of Whisky, Heritage & Wellness from Graham’s hometown to Serena’s. Edinburgh’s Whisky Festival was born and quickly established itself as one of Scotland’s most popular whisky events, welcoming whisky lovers, distilleries, independent bottlers and exhibitors from across the country.

The next chapter saw us head east to the City of Discovery. In June 2026, we proudly launched Dundee’s Whisky Festival at the iconic Caird Hall. The response exceeded every expectation. Hundreds of attendees, exhibitors and whisky enthusiasts descended on the city for a day packed with drams, conversation, education, entertainment and community spirit. The festival was met with incredible feedback and demonstrated exactly why Dundee deserved its own large-scale whisky celebration.

Today, Slanj Events delivers three whisky festivals across Scotland, each with its own identity but all built on the same foundations: celebrating Scotland’s national drink, championing local businesses and communities, and raising funds for causes close to our hearts.

From Alloa to Edinburgh to Dundee, Team Slanj continues to bring people together through great whisky, unforgettable experiences and a shared passion for Scotland’s rich whisky heritage.
